Watching my mom live to 94 reinforced what matters most: quality of life and health span. I've helped hundreds of clients restore strength, energy, and confidence through personalized fitness, nutrition, and longevity strategies designed to help the body function, heal, and thrive.

As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, my mission is to help you build a body - and a life - that feels as good as it looks.

My Story

Kim Lenga

Most people assume that I got into fitness because of some big transformation. But the truth is: I am a wife, a mom, and a caregiver who spent years putting everyone else first - and somewhere along the way, I lost myself. This isn't just a story about fitness. It's about faith, family, and the strength it takes to rise again - emotionally, physically and spiritually.


Where It Began

I taught my first fitness class at the age of 17, but my journey really started at 13 - struggling with my weight and confidence. My sister taught me to track food—“you bite it, you write it.” It wasn’t perfect, but it opened my eyes.

The ‘80s brought aerobics and a love for movement. Fitness became my outlet—even as I balanced college, corporate life, and marriage.

When my second son was born with Congenital Femoral Deficiency, our world shifted. We were told to amputate but found a surgeon who offered limb-lengthening. That became our life—surgeries, hospitals, physical therapy. For 18 years, we lived in survival mode. My own health took a back seat. I was exhausted, out of shape, and numb. The Costco diet became our norm. Health? That was on hold. We were surviving. Tired. Fluffy. Numb. Wellness wasn’t even on the radar—I had lost myself completely.


The Turning Point

In 2009, I left corporate to care for my dad, who battled diabetes, heart disease, and was diagnosed with colon cancer. That’s when I returned to teaching fitness—just a little.

Then came the mirror moment. That's when the real shift occurred when my oldest son asked for help with his weight. He was 13—the same age I had been. I hired him a trainer and got serious about my own health.

I lost 35 pounds and gained purpose. Women noticed. I started hosting free nutrition workshops—teaching label reading, smart eating, and simple tools for real life.ad lost myself completely.


What I Do Today

In 2018, I launched Emerge Fitness to help others rise through adversity. The butterfly logo symbolized

transformation—but it didn’t resonate with the men in my life who had also been part of that journey.

So I created #EmergeStrong—a masculine, powerful symbol of grit and resilience. Today, I help others restore strength, energy, and confidence through personalized fitness, nutrition, and longevity strategies designed to help the body function, heal, and thrive.


Why It Matters

Because I’ve lived it. I know what it feels like to lose yourself in caregiving, responsibilities, and life’s demands. But I also know this—there is a way back. You don’t need to do everything perfectly. You just need the right plan, the right support, and the willingness to start.
